Informed Consent Policy
The Asian Journal of Medical Research and Health Sciences requires that all research involving human participants follow internationally accepted ethical standards and guidelines. Authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to their inclusion in the study.
For studies involving human subjects, authors must clearly state in the manuscript that informed consent was obtained from the participants or from their legal guardians where applicable. The consent process should ensure that participants are fully informed about the purpose of the research, procedures involved, potential risks, and benefits before agreeing to participate.
If the manuscript includes patient information, images, or clinical details, authors must obtain written consent from the patient or their legal representative for publication. Personal identifying information should be removed unless explicit permission has been granted.
Authors must also confirm that the study protocol was reviewed and approved by an appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee in accordance with ethical standards for research involving human participants.
The journal reserves the right to request documentation confirming informed consent and ethical approval where necessary. Manuscripts that do not comply with ethical standards or fail to provide adequate informed consent statements may be rejected.
